SkinWishes Skincare is a collection of products expertly crafted and curated to help smooth your skin, soothe your soul and support a cozy lifestyle. Indulge in hydrating & smoothing skincare products, aroma care products with nostalgic scents that bring you to a place of comfort, and fun, fuzzy, fluffy (and sometimes flirty!) products to create a cozy space around you. ​
Melanie Cober (she/her) is the owner and one-woman creative force behind Skin SkinWishes Skincare. She expertly formulates, creates, packages and labels every single product by hand and she incorporates her enthusiasm for the cozy life into all aspects of her business and life. Melanie is very much a sensory-driven person and has been obsessed with all things smooth and soft since she was a little girl. She is a graduate of the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design with diplomas in Fashion & Textile Design. Although not directly related to skincare, the knowledge she gained from her studies is invaluable and fuelled her love for textural delights.
Vision
Melanie is a proud East-Coaster, originally from New Brunswick. Thanks to her incredibly supportive husband, who proudly serves in the military, she has had the privilege of living in many provinces. This has given her the amazing opportunity to share SkinWishes across the country and connect with so many amazing humans. Melanie and her husband now live in Toronto, Ontario with their two fur babies. She is currently working towards her Diploma in Organic Skincare Formulation and Advanced Diploma in Organic Cosmetic Science. When relaxing at home, you will find her twirling her hair while binge watching Netflix, buying all the items to learn a new skill (but who has time to learn the new skill?), and planning an exciting future adventure with her husband when he retires.
