Each product is thoughtfully formulated using rich blends of luscious oils, creamy butters, and custom-blended fragrance profiles, resulting in skin that feels irresistibly silky, delightfully smooth, and incredibly supple.​
Melanie Cober (she/her) is the owner and one-woman creative force behind Skin SkinWishes Skincare. She expertly formulates, creates, packages and labels every single product by hand and she incorporates her enthusiasm for smooth textures into all aspects of her business. Melanie is very much a sensory-driven person and has been obsessed with all things smooth since she was a little girl. She is a graduate of the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design with diplomas in Fashion & Textile Design. Although not directly related to skincare, the knowledge she gained from her studies is invaluable and fuelled her love for textural delights.
Vision
Melanie is a proud East-Coaster, originally from New Brunswick. Thanks to her incredibly supportive husband, who proudly serves in the military, she has had the privilege of living in many provinces. This has given her the amazing opportunity to share SkinWishes across the country and connect with so many amazing humans. Melanie and her husband now live in Toronto, Ontario with their two fur babies. She is currently working towards her Diploma in Organic Skincare Formulation and Advanced Diploma in Organic Cosmetic Science. When relaxing at home, you will find her twirling her hair while binge watching Netflix, buying all the items to learn a new skill (but who has time to learn the new skill?), and planning an exciting future adventure with her husband when he retires.
